And just to say, it's not just the owner's "antics" and beliefs, it's the fact that there are real safety issues with the cars that are keeping people from buying them and those issues will become more public in the future.

Just an observation but even some of his fans get it that their Tesla cars and trucks have lost value so they can't get anything for them if they try to trade them in or resell them. Had one tell me this not that long ago, and can see it online in various places.

He can say he's doing X, Y and Z, but the US economy is not good. Salaries and jobs are down. Auto loans are not doing well. Tariffs are making prices go up. People tend to hang on to their cars and everything else instead of buying when they are worried. There's a lot that goes into the equation.

Just to say this isn't an advert for Mr. Hayes' book, but it is very helpful in explaining what is going on with social media at this time.

I found Chris Hayes' book "The Siren's Call" really good in explaining the attention economy. Which has led to where social media is now. But many haven't grasped that social media isn't geared to how people interact in person. There's a big learning deficit happening and we are the worse for it.

It's getting better. They are bringing together the separate health coalitions into one alliance for health science and more. This is good for us. I hope they will include food safety in this because that was a very important function of the FDA.

As someone from across the pond, my US rep and senators are all on here now along with a lot of good accounts so it is okay here.

Just waiting to see what happens since Elon is getting interested in Japan's politics. Those still on X...if he does to them what he did to the US and Europe...
