my sweet Peanut is a radiant soul and ultra lovesponge who lives for bellyrubs but fears the hose: she is NOT fond of bathtime

I have long believed that we should be WAY more vocal about how police and ICE constantly murder dogs, and I think this is great messaging actually.

The reality is that you can mobilize a whole lot of usually tuned-out Americans around a “someone is being mean to hecking doggos” cause.

I also have a lot of feelings about the end of this two year war that followed the October '23 day that broke me. the nightmare that made me flee my Home along with my spouse & our child months before we originally planned to make that move, a decision that was already mixed and difficult for me.

The living hostages are finally free. For the first time in two years, we can breathe.

I pray they heal. I pray this is the beginning of peace. I pray all of this works out.

There is anger too, but I’m holding onto hope, a value that has sustained the Jewish people for millennia.

They are home.
