Yay, we’ve got a winner. Tawny frogmouth. #birds #Birdoftheyear
Small family of birds on a branch. They look like stick themselves. This feathery lump on the branch doesn’t appear to have eyes, and the. Eakins a fine grey line. Hard to spot.

“Single JobSeeker [payment] $400 week. Let me know how you’d go if you were getting that little & were randomly not paid.”

This comment, from people behind Nobody Deserves Poverty, points to ignored cruelty at the heart of one of Australia’s most shameful open secrets.”

Interesting hearing Amerikans complain about bailing out Argentina

Of course I would too

BUT Australians are paying an open-ended $360Bn+ possibly $1Tn+ for AUKUS submarines from Amerika we will never get!

No Australian politician ever sought a mandate for that
$40 billion could modernize water systems in every lead-poisoned town in the US and bring high-speed internet to rural America, but instead it's going towards bailing out Argentina

The Reserve Bank has the unemployment rate it desired.

Our government will continue to shit on the unemployed, make them leap through all the hoops, make them live in poverty, despite their unemployment being a deliberate plan.

And our media will keep pushing the bludger line.

Do you take orders? This is beautiful.
