This Supreme Court case in Louisiana is about one thing, and one thing only: reinstituting Jim Crow by way of ensuring that Black Americans are taxed without receiving representation in Congress.

Everything else is noise and bluster.

This stolen Supreme Court is going to send us back to the 1860s.

OK. When I first saw the term it was in a parenting article and referred to parents who hovered over kids, barely letting them out of their sight, across the board. I can see how teachers would use it differently.

Supper. Once again, starting with a box (scalloped potatoes) and testing a different mix of cheeses to arrive at a much cheesier potato dish for supper. Sharp cheddar plus my usual Mexican cheese blend. Result: excellent.

Apropos of nothing, once the President of the United States confirms covert CIA operations in a country… say, Venezuela, those operations are no longer covert.

I agree, and I live there. Yes, it was Department of War first, but I was delighted when they changed it to Defense, and very unhappy when those idiots changed it back.

Maybe it's just me but if someone changed their "Department of Defense" to the "Department of War" I don't really think they should ever be considered for a Nobel Peace Prize because they really aren't into the idea of peace.
