Obviously the mosquitoes are the ones doing it
Yes, we found a long detour into the hills that let us get around them. I found it maddening that they were preventing people from dispersing peacefully before dispersing them violently.
Cops were blocking our path home. I told one cop I just needed to turn down the street he was blocking so I could get to my apartment.

"You can't always get what you want" - then forced me to turn around and head back into the very area they were preparing to disperse w nonlethals.
So many people out on Sunset blasting "Not Like Us".

The joy on the street is incredible. Strangers are high fiving each other. Drunk ladies are dancing in the intersections. Fireworks are smoking up the air.
Echo Park is wild right now. If you're at Sunset/Echo Park, I'd suggest leaving. Cops are in full tactical gear.

Los Angeles city busses are currently girding their loins in anticipation.

California folks: if you have a Prop 50 mail-in ballot but haven't mailed it in yet, do it today. Please. I am begging you. It's literally the only question on the ballot and it'll take you like 30 seconds to fill out. Redistricting only happens if enough people vote for it by next Tuesday. #yeson50
California folks, for the love of all the gods and goddesses you revere, MAIL IN YOUR PROP 50 BALLOT TODAY. It's really easy: there's only one question! I recommend you vote YES on 50, then mail the ballot in, no postage required. #yeson50
That's the story that people assumed, but there's actually no public evidence of that happening. We don't actually know why he left the show.
I clocked my head on the floating stair while looking for my dog's toy. I'm okay now, but while I was doubled over on the floor, one dog came to my aid and sat with me. One dog continued to look for his toy, unconcerned about my wellbeing. This is the traitor in question.
I was on my laptop browsing Mookie Betts jerseys for my dog, and this man thinks if I buy this dog jersey, they will win.

LARP is far more reasonable than this.
At the local Dodger bar because I have bought in to a sports. A man told me his buddy bets $1k on the opposing team every game because he believes it makes the Dodgers win. I find this information distressing.
I just walked out the door, saw the Dodger traffic, and went back inside. The grocery store will wait until morning.
Mike Johnson's entire personality is old mom who doesn't watch the news at all but just feels like things shouldn't be so easy for poor people.
That was very kind for the Dodgers to consider the local bartenders
I can't imagine they will. Definitely going to walk there tomorrow and find out how late they went.
The Douglas, Echo Park's primary Dodger bar, closes at midnight.
Can you imagine being so great at baseball that everyone is terrified of letting you play baseball
We have an Echo Park Neighborhood Council meeting tomorrow night down the street from Dodger Stadium. I wonder if it's too late to add a petition to end this game to our agenda.
Oh I can't afford actual tickets.

But every TV at every bar in Echo Park is showing the game right now.
I live in walking distance of Dodger Stadium, and tonight is a crazy night for the whole neighborhood.
