Playing Gen 4 games as of this year I think (through *totally legitimate* means) was my exposure to this mechanic and I was panicking so much bc of the screen fizzing every few steps.

Cue the breath I'd take when I'd see them put at 1HP, my guys were STRUGGLING. On that note, so is you here, omg.

Hate the obsession w/ making everything kid-friendly, the world shouldn't cater to children all the time. That's your job as a parent, to protect them and surveil what they get access to. Content and media isn't supposed to raise your kids, you are. There are things that just aren't meant for kids.
