I am really pleased he and other democrats are saying this more. I think it's important as a way to incentivize people to resist, and also because it's a promise, and pols generally try to follow through on repeated promises.

i feel like the current moral panic about fiction must be somehow connected to a feeling of powerlessness in people
Watching things get worse worldwide, and then picking a thing that you can ACTIVELY DO (harass fandom ppl with no power) so they can feel better
