Weird, just watched a 16 minute youtube video of a guy turning a wooden witch halloween decoration (nice work, smooth turning, good commentary) but he went out of his way not to say witch. Kept just saying 'halloween decoration', actually sounded like he was having to pause to avoid saying witch.

I've wondered how crime scene photographs will need to change once machine generated images are indistinguishable from the truth.

I guess digital signatures, so a camera will need to insert a cryptographic signature into every image file, and we'll get an arms race of faking that and IDing it. etc.
