On this day 25 years ago, our little website began. A lot has happened since then, but somehow, you're all still here reading it.

We started the site to bring Aussies on the internet local Nintendo news, which at the time was hard to come by and only sparsely covered by the big sites.

Now, most of those big sites don't even exist.

More than ever, independent, no-bullshit Nintendo coverage is needed and we're here for as long as we're needed.

Thanks for the support, and for being part of the journey.

According to @gamediscoverco.bsky.social, there's a lot less desire among publishers and developers to understand how people find new games on consoles compared to PC.

Is it because there are more people playing on PC? Or are there other factors too?

The pulpy point and click adventure thriller The Drifter has been awarded Game of the Year at the 2025 Australian Game Developer Awards.

It also took out awards for Excellence in Art, Narrative, and Sound Design.
