I'm not dismissing anyone's opinions! If you look at my original reply to Crucible or Words you'll see that I agree that Polanski is a better choice! But the subject I was replying to was comparing Davey to Starmer! That is all!

No I said "main party leader" as in "mainstream party leader" I abbreviated it because of character constraints.

Remember how the greens (rightfully) argued that only Reform were mentioned on news channels despite having the MPs? They've basically been ignored in the mainstream for years

The Greens have only been taken seriously ever since Polanski took over, so for like a month? Before that they were basically completely ignored by the mainstream press, so yes. They are not yet a mainstream party.

Yes but if you asked people on the street to name a Green MP, you'd be hard pressed to find any who could name one. They may be polling high, but they're still a fringe party. Most people probably couldn't give Polanski's name at this point. This is what I mean by not a mainstream party.

Am I wrong though? Is he not the only main party leader that Boycotted Trump's state visit? Bear in mind the greens are, at this point, still not counted as a mainstream party.

I didn't mention anything about "all major party leaders"? I was just replying to someone who thought that Davey would be better than Starmer, & I gave an explanation about how I thought he would be? Sure the Green party leader would be best, but that was unrelated to the topic I was talking about.

No it's because Maccabi fans have a history of violence, destruction of property and racial abuse when they travel away, like in Amsterdam last year. They're well known for hooliganism.

You could argue that letting the violent, racist thugs of Maccabi in will only stoke the flames of anti-semitism further, as when they inevitably riot and attack people, for some people it will give credence to the idea that "all Jews are violent" when clearly that's not the case.

It's not weird to think that at all. We would be better off with Ed Davey; he's the only main party leader that speaks of the dangers of Trump, he's actively working against Farage, sure he's a bit cringe, but he genuinely wants the best for Britain, and he's a carer so he's a good dude.
