it's like the anti-fetterman
One underrated aspect of Zohran is that he always wears a suit, always presents himself professionally while still doing fun and approachable retail politics. You don’t have to drape yourself yourself in hypebeast and post thirst traps, you can be fucking grown up respecting the office and be fun
Plus it helps decongest the WiFi channel and I can move the Zigbee channel to something less busy.

YMMV if you live in an apartment with heavy WiFi interference across all channels.

All that said, I totally understand your reasoning.
I think Hue has matter support now but I’ve also stuck with Hue because it’s on Zigbee.

The best thing about Hue is the quality of the LEDs. Competition is catching up, but it’s not there yet.

Plus, ive been trying to move as much to my Zigbee networks as I can for the speed and reliability
The atom lite s3s also have grove sensors that work quite well, but the ESPresense repo owner isn’t a big fan of how they integrate libraries (I don’t blame him) so I’ve had to do my own fork to integrate a few environmental sensors.
•it takes some time to experiment to find the ideal node config
• You need outlets in enough *useful* locations with ESP32s

I’ve found m5Stack atom lite S3 work good, are fairly cheap, and are packaged well in a nice little case.
I will say I have a VERY large system at 12-13 nodes. It worked ok with six. But it works tremendously well with double

There are some caveats:
•It does NOT work well if you have certain interferences (fridges, monitors, concrete, etc)
•It’s relatively slow compared to Aqara pres sensors on Zigbee
I’ve seen the new Hue Pro Bridge with motion aware is getting decent reviews in real world tests. For those of us who live in the hue universe it’s kind of exciting.
I’ve looked into this. I’m still a bigger fan of ESPresense. It maps you out in 3D with BLE.

I’ve found the best use is to know exactly where my phone is when I forget to charge it and it’s dead somewhere in the house.

I have Home Assistant save the last know spot. Usually within two feet.
I’m not entirely sure she cares about true journalistic standards. Just hoovering up money and power and influence.

Having those allows her to substitute her own definition of those terms and she can measure herself against them.

Which, surprise, A+ on every metric.
Because there’s only their internal narrative and the mirrors they keep as friends. Anything less than total validation gets you a one-way ticket out of her sphere of influence.

People like her have been coddled on shows like Maher. I suspect she hasn’t faced any real criticisms to her face in ages
Good grief, why is he clapping like that?

Is that what the youths do now?
Good thread by George.

TikTok is going to melt your brain.
This is such a pernicious piece of disinformation I got out of bed to type this thread with a real keyboard. First off I strongly recommend against withdrawing your money from a bank because TikTok told you to. It's a giant waste of your time. Second: don't trust a man that drinks blue Gatorade Zero
@peark.es is it true are the banks out of money? Should we run to the bank and withdraw our money?
Ok, so I think I see what’s going on here.

I read the first paragraph of Roger Ebert’s review and I’m absolutely sold on this and will carve out time to watch it.

I would avoid the review because that paragraph spoils what would be an incredibly entertaining scene.

Ebert gave it 3 out of 4 *s
That should have read “only so much good” and “everything that was good”

Cripes.
I mean, so much good can only exist before it collapses into a singularity destroying everything that was goo, leaving only a void where space-time used to exist
Looks like it’s just sorting left to right?
