Here in the UK, I saw the new steelbooks go for about £50 per film so I dread to think about how much this specific set goes for...

Wow, that's a lot of stuff. Back To The Future is my favourite movie but honestly, I don't see myself picking this up. I already have a 4K print of each film mixed in with a dozen other prints, I'm not a steelbook guy and I just don't have space for collectibles, but hey, this is a huge fan treat!

Oh........... excellent. I've been meaning to cut down on sugar. At my age, one can only handle so much sweetness and if anything, I think I'm losing my sweet tooth. Thank you so much, sir, for looking out for my health! I will never forget this!!

Wife is getting a COVID vaccine on the 17th, a day after our anniversary. She's getting it done in a building that used to be a burger restaurant, the very same restaurant where in 2019 we decided to get married. You can't make this shit up.

YEAH, I'LL TAKE A COVID JAB AND A LARGE SIDE OF FRIES!!

Nightmare Before Christmas is one of the wife's all time favourites. I'm surprised that we're halfway into October and she hasn't watched it even once. Knowing her and what we do every December, she won't let Christmas go by without us sitting down for that artistic gem...

Tomorrow is me and the wife's fourteenth anniversary. Married October 16th 2021, 4 years tomorrow, which is also the anniversary of the last time I was in the same room as my mother- and father-in-law because they are garbage human beings and the Mrs is better off without them.

So yeah, good times!

"Rest in peace, Windows 10. You were better than Windows 8 but you weren't as satisfying as Windows 7. You were just OK."

Don't think I've seen a better obituary for Windows 10 during yesterday than this one...
A Metropol post revolving around support ending for Windows 10, commemorating the service for its odd quirks and hindrances

Girl, for an insomniac like me, 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep is a fucking luxury. I'm sleeping better after my house move in July but beforehand there were days when I'd go to bed and I'd get pissed off at how restless my body is. 30ish years, you can only take so much before cracking...

REASONABLE TIMES? Eww, gross. I never did that shit when I was a kid. I never even slept through the night until I was 7!!!
drummerfromfife.bsky.social
Yeah that's fair. You only have to so much time in the day, especially if it's a shot where characters are moving...
drummerfromfife.bsky.social
Oh of course, hypothetically, should we be about to do anything the authorities would consider... inappropriate!
drummerfromfife.bsky.social
Oh no I know it's you at this point 🤣

You could've shown an image of the Eds running around the empty garage. That would've shown they're looking for something exciting...

I would still say it's one of Pixar's worst but that's just for me. I just couldn't develop any interest for the story, even after that first viewing... but hey, better than Cars 2!!
drummerfromfife.bsky.social
First time I watched it, I thought it was just OK. I tried to watch it twice for the tier-list and I just couldn't get into it. I just didn't care for it.

I would say the cattle wrangling scene with Sam Elliot was enough to push GD into "Good" territory but it's still very much "Worst Good" film for me. There are a dozen or two films I'd rather watch over it...

Cars 2, yes, that film was a joke, but give me The Good Dinosaur over Elio any day of the week. That wasn't super great either but it was a far more tolerable experience with a few scenes I genuinely liked. Elio has nothing...

Look, I love Pixar, I've been committed to them since I saw Toy Story 2 in theatres, but when I saw the trailer to Elio and when it didn't really interest me, that should've been a warning sign. Fans will rave about the animation. I don't care how a film is animated if the story and characters suck.
