It is a scandal totally unprecedented in history that the Vice President has shared a video depicting the President as king. It’s an obscene violation of every founding American principle.

And nothing will come of it. It makes me physically sick.

“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

It costs a lot less to house people.

If anyone's wondering how this is possible, the answer is these strike teams are moving terrifyingly fast. Grab first, ask questions later. We were about 8-15 minutes behind them today for several hours. They're jumping out of vans, chasing people across lawns, taking them from bus stops, etc
30 people disappeared in this shaded area today.

Joe Gebbia is the billionaire co-founder of AirBnB, a close friend of Elon Musk, and worked to gut the federal government with DOGE.

And he just gave the single largest donation to Cuomo’s super PAC since the primary.
agreed! also throw on access to food, water, and permanent housing on top of that. requirements for survival really need to be human rights

Once you have called disabled people a burden, you have facilitated the devaluation, dehumanization and death of disabled people.
@jacktatttran.bsky.social hey! new account. we used to talk here about public transit, but i cleared my account here
i agree, bike lanes need to be a priority (or more pedestrianized streets or streets with no through traffic for motorists)
as a public transit/bike share user, i clearly don't exist
your "community" is artificially generated. don't listen to me as a constituent @diannesaxe.bsky.social, listen to the robots
"There's no question that dedicated bus lanes would be better for transit, but they would have wiped out all parking 24/7 on both sides of the street. And my community has asked me to try something smaller first. And if it doesn't work, we'll be back," says Saxe.
i'm almost certain that europe has way fewer 5-tonne pickup trucks and suvs than north america does, which i'd argue would reduce the wear and tear that asphalt would encounter, no?
