You can be more progressive than our current labour government without having a financial meltdown. If we all vote green in the local elections next May it might encourage the government to move further left

Polanski's rise in popularity is based on one simple thing. He's the only party leader talking about what is genuinely at the root of the nation's misery. It's not immigrants, it's super-wealth.

Everyone else is seen as hopelessly compromised on that topic, because they generally are.
