there is no terror quite like getting stuck in upper-deck traffic on a 100Β° Summer day, with an air-cooled engine πŸ˜…
I would totally consider a manual again, now that I'm back in a small town.

Years of sitting in stop-and-go traffic in Austin made me appreciate an automatic
I've been eye-balling this Dakota in my aunt's apartment parking lot. thinking about leaving a note in case they ever want to sell.

Like so many ppl, I desperately wish they still made light trucks.
I'm boring AF now, we have 2 Altimas πŸ˜…

b4 that I had an 06 Jeep Liberty. a weird vehicle... looks like a compact soccer mom SUV, tight steering like a sport coup, and can haul a trailer across the country. I kinda miss it
1. 80 Pontiac Grand Prix
2. 74 914
2.5 partner's 68 Ghia
3. 85 VW Scirocco
it only gets boring after that
I mean... I don't know how long your legs are, but you could probably drive it... just not with the top on 😁

I was 6'0" at the time (have lost a couple inches over the years to spinal compression)

I always wanted a Bus or a Thing.. just never found the right one at the right time
my 2nd car was a '74 914, IMO the superior car of that era. the mid-engine gave it near-perfect weight distribution, making it both more fun and safer to drive. it rly hugged the road, crazy how fast you could stay thru curves
an friend of mine had a '72 911T, that he had rebuilt an S engine for. It was fun, but also scary quick and would fishtail if you didn't know how to handle it πŸ˜…
I guess there is no lack of perfect albums

Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Orange
Name an Album with Zero Skips.

The Stone Roses - Second Coming
okay I have to say it... The Dukes of Hazzard. the show is problematic in so many ways, but that song is still a banger.

(also Waylon was a great narrator. a precursor to Morgan Freeman)
LUL this was one of a very small number of VHS tapes I owned as a kid, and so I literally have watched it hundreds of times
hmm, what would I dispense...
frogurt. coffee on the left, pistachio on the right 🍦

I have a consult for my FFS in Seattle on December 5, in the morning, in Seattle. I also have a therapy appointment at noon. I'm hoping there is a kind and generous moot in the city who can provide me a mirror to do my makeup and a private space to do my telehealth therapy. I'll be very grateful.
two days later I was at the Radiohead, Kid A show in Houston, ears still ringing from the Mogwai show.

Yeah Radiohead can fuck off now, but they were truly great for a while πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
