I no longer allow United results to dictate my mood cos I've accepted they're just thick. My 10 yr old is making his debut tomorrow for the U14s against one the best teams in the country. That influences my mood more. Love watching him play. He's an absolute baller.

Granada Reports in 2005, when the Glazer takeover of United was finalised. The brothers visited Old Trafford and had to be taken away to safety in a police van which was pelted with missiles. The last part of the report - supporters were right to be worried. Shameful it was ever allowed to happen.

An excellent first touch is usually a good signal that the player can play at the top level. Isn't always true (I don't think Zirkzee is ever going to be top tier) but it's generally a reliable signal for me.

From what I've seen of Sesko, he's got the makings of a very good striker. I felt the same about Hojlund to be fair (I would have kept him at the club) but the main difference is Sesko looks to have an excellent touch, especially under pressure. Whether with his feet, head or chest.

Saw an article calling Sesko the worst signing of the summer. Lol. You have to be a moron to be making judgements on any transfer in October.

Also, how can you call him the worst but put Gyokeres as one of the best? And then ignore the £115m that Liverpool spent on a modern day Alberto Aquilani.

Reform has suspended county councillor Robert Ford after a complaint was made about him by 'several female members of staff.'

The party said that Cllr Ford refused to engage with the complaints process, so he has had the whip removed pending a disciplinary process.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

Not sure we're "too big to succeed" but there is a valid point around the media scrutiny, 24/7. Few other managerial jobs are at this level (how many interviews has Amorim done?). Few other owners are examined so closely (though they should be). It's not an excuse but it definitely doesn't help.

Rubbish is the wrong word. Not sure if there is a single word but having experienced foreign fans following their national team in Switzerland, France, Italy & Germany in recent years, I can categorically state that those experiences were far more enjoyable. Both on my own and with my kids.
