Architect George Kingsley was the king of Chicago storage warehouse design in the early 1900s. Here is one I didn't know about at 4015 N. Broadway. Really too bad about the replacement brick and the glass blocks. Built ca. 1910.

According to the AIA Guide to Chicago, "This is the earliest house in the Hutchinson Street district, designed for the street's developer, John C. Scales, in the Queen Anne style of Maher's early career.
Complex roof forms, beautifully reshingled, and high chimneys top heavily textured walls of boulders and half-timbering.

Incredible photo from @chicago.suntimes.com ‘s Anthony Vazquez. Pointing what looks to be a teargas launcher at someone’s head at nearly point blank range is incredibly dangerous. This is why I prefer a ballistic helmet in the field.

Apparently they kidnapped a black young man.

Contact Walgreens HQ and ask them to not allow ICE on their property.

At this point, there is a statement from DHS re 🧊 activities in the Chicago area that’s refuted in similar fashion on nearly a daily basis at a minimum over the past week

Despite what some, including at DHS, are claiming, this video isn’t from a year ago in Chicago. It was Friday in Hoffman Estates, in my district, a street I’ve walked myself. It appears to show a child being violently detained by ICE. It’s real, and I’m demanding accountability.
