If State Farm is truly interested in being a good neighbor, it should be transparent and let the numbers speak for themselves.

Other insurance companies work with us on this, but State Farm has refused.

IU previously directed the Indiana Daily Student to stop printing news coverage in our newspaper. Upon pushback, the university fully cut print, including our special editions. The IDS was not involved in the decision.

Media School Dean David Tolchinsky sent the order to IDS leadership in an email responding to its appeal that the school not censor the newspaper. And the dean attributed the decision to “the campus.” He has not yet responded to a message for clarification.

New development re: the temp restraining order meant to rein in federal agents' violence towards press and the public in the Chicago area.

Per a court entry filed today, a new hearing in the case has been set for tomorrow morning.

Prelim injunction hearing still set for 10/23, per the court.

Yup cost like $1500 bucks to fix it all. Thankfully it was covered by insurance at the time but you know the hassle with dealing with all that. I had them braced with L brackets too but the shelves themselves just used those as levers to fuck up the studs.

Yeah I learned the hard way several years ago. Came home one night and two of them had just collapsed, ripped the drywall off the wall and fucked up the studs. Worse it all landed on the glass topped desk which was a nightmare.

Be careful with floating shelves they have a VERY low weight limit. It's less than they state and when they fail it is spectacularly.
