the vote that was planned for oct 15th has been tabled because they dont believe it has the support needed (thanks to everyone contacting their reps!)

"Anything can be addictive" is the second most shallow and dangerous take on addiction, just behind telling addicts to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. It's a take that betrays zero interest in exploring the causes and treatments for addiction

Ok we really need to get one thing straight. An addiction based on a chemical dependency is not the same as an addiction based on behavior, habit, and lifestyle.
