ICYMI, Dominion Voting has been acquired by Scott Leinendecker, a former GOP election official from Missouri. Leindendecker is also the CEO of electronic poll book supplier Knowink whose product manager, Mitch Millville, was Ed Martin’s campaign IT director in Missouri in 2011. This Ed Martin. 1/

The biggest renovation of the White House -- the so-called Truman Reconstruction of 1949-1952 -- came about only because the building was in such a state of disrepair that inspectors decided it was unsafe for occupancy.

Not because the president just decided he needed a big fancy ballroom.

I was so upset when I saw & read the WAPO article. Destroying the East Wing ( they lied & said it wouldn't happen). And I would think it is not really needed. No president has ever asked for this. After the Rose Garden desecration it is just a bad feeling all around.

I stand corrected. The excesses of she and her husband King Louis XV led to the French Revolution. A food shortage, high taxes & wealth inequity contributed. There are parallels to our own country.

Trump must be a reincarnation of Marie Antoinette, "Let them eat cake". He is building a 250 million$$ ballroom for a vanity project while he says our country has no money for WIC, Meals on Wheels or Special Education. Make no mistake, Trump's priorities are not the American people.

I will add my dad got a job in Huntsville AL in the 50s and Mom (2 yrs of college) was really worried she wouldn't pass the literacy test for voting there because "they had a lot of trick questions" and then started talking about the expense of poll taxes.

My WWII dad from SD and Southern ( MS) mom taught us that all people bleed the same color and not to think we were better than anybody else. They supported the 1964 Civil Rights Bill.
I wish they had interviews from other parts of the country.

According to the FEMA Daily Briefing a presidential disaster declaration was requested on October 16th. To the best of my knowledge it hasn’t been granted. Any event of this size should be an easy and immediate yes.

Rural central Missouri here. No problems with BlueSky but lots of problems with internet speed. Buried phone lines are not being maintained or updated. Satellite is gone during storms due to terrain. Verizon doesn't cover our area.
