I have been a lawyer, a novelist, a playwright, a poet, a comedian, and some of those things I still am, sort-of. Half Aussie. Half Newfie. All Canadian. Pretty far left. Have 2 grown sons. One husband. One dog. Part of a horse. Also: old (over 65).

I am sixty seven years old and probably thirty pounds overweight. And I could do that test.
Well, I'm not sure Toronto will go after we win. We'll probably decide to stay home and not ruin the good vibes we'll have.
Sadly, he didn't say that. It's a nice sentiment, and he says many wise things, but he didn't say that.
I'm sorry to say, he never said that. He says lots of wonderful things, but he didn't say that.
"Appeared to be." They can't even commit to THAT.
I'm at for Americans but do happy Canada is getting top researchers. Good for UHN for making this possible.
After more than a decade of growing his career in cancer research in Australia and then being recruited to a coveted position in the U.S, Canadian-born scientist Wes Wilson packed up his lab at Penn Medical in Philadelphia & has moved 800kms north to Toronto. #Canada

So Poilievre thinks the convoy organizers shouldn't have even be charged, but says Trudeau should go to jail.
Who's that remind you of?
Cannot imagine why any Canadian would go to Florida - or any of the "sun" destinations in the States - considering the madness there. I know lots of us have American properties, but it's time to go. Would you have holidayed in Nazi Germany? Don't go to the USA. It's not safe or ethical to do so.
Block that house.
BlueSky just verified the White House account. I responded by doing the only appropriate thing:
you mean, a lawyer? I know all too many of them. I'd have to know more deets though. Best we have a convo so I can narrow it down.
Look at those two idiots laughing in the background. Jesus wept.

Thank you for reminding everyone. I'm so sorry for your tragic loss.
We actually did that at thanksgiving dinner this year. " No, matter how bad things might get, at least we're not in the United States." We weren't happy about saying it, but we all agreed.
Uh-oh... that doesn't sound good...
No, but I frequently call him on my cell, on the house landline, when he's upstairs on his computer. Or I email him.

We're both retired lawyers. So yeah.

Reuters photographer Jonathan Ernst noticed that Bondi flipped open a file during the Senate hearing and he zoomed in.

Inside were her crib notes for attacking the senators.

The GOP now practicing Cliff's Notes Fascism

In other words, under oath Bondi was purely a performance.
So much for being tough on crime.

Start the right-wing whining in three...two...

"...each was given an 18-month conditional sentence: Twelve months at home with limited outings per week, followed by six months under a 10 p.m. curfew."
