The day after the Chinatown raid, New York AG Tish James launches an online portal for the public to submit photos and videos of ICE activity.

"We are committed to reviewing these reports and assessing any violations of law," she writes.

For folks asking if they've made it *inside* a Home Depot yet as the business has clearly just continued letting agents do whatever they want in their lots, the answer is yes. This is from yesterday in Evanston.

What keeps New Yorkers up at night are not the right-wing fever dreams of Andrew Cuomo.

It's whether or not they can keep living in the city they love.

I'm the only candidate on stage tonight with a vision for the future and a plan to bring down costs.

NYC is out in droves. This after yesterday ICE raided Canal Street.
Same.
I’m grateful that Zohran Mamdani speaks up for women who have been subjected to sexual harassment on the job, punished for reporting it through invasive litigation tactics, and silenced through defamation lawsuits.

Cuomo can say Kościuszko but not Mamdani?

If you want a Mayor who tells you everything that he can't do, Andrew Cuomo should be your choice.

But if you want a Mayor who will use every tool at their disposal to lower the cost of living, I am the candidate for you.

Tonight, in the final debate of his decades in power or desperately pursuing it, you will hear from Andrew Cuomo the same arrogance, the same entitlement, the same excuses for a broken status quo he's long maintained.

New Yorkers are ready for change.

Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!

We're still dealing with the consequences of Andrew Cuomo's "experience."

It would cost roughly $700 million to make the nation's slowest buses fast and free.

And it would generate more than double that in economic benefits for our city.

OH WOW HE ATE THAT UP!! Go Mamdani go!

As a fellow survivor tracking the story of these women who've been harassed and silenced, its SO moving to have a male leader speak up so strongly for these women and use his privilege. That's how you ally right there.
In the audience tonight is Charlotte Bennett, one of the 13 women that Andrew Cuomo is credibly alleged to have sexually harassed while they worked in his government.

She can't speak for herself because Cuomo's lawyers have hounded her.

So I confronted him.

Just read the article and saw the photos and all I have to say is that there has to be a reckoning for this.
“.. They are the asylum seekers, the rule followers. They go into the federal building holding papers .. hoping for a measure of due process. Some leave the courthouse with a hearing date set months or years from now. Others disappear into ICE’s prison system.”

Interview w our @chosenfamilylaw.bsky.social Sr Legal Director @andyeyeballs.bsky.social on what's going on w X gender markers and international travel. In short, having an X gender marker on your passport will make international travel more difficult, in ways still unclear, but very intentional.

It's probably too much to hope for that the @nytimes.com team will do any self-reflection on this. But please know that with this coverage you are looking at people's lives burning in a fire that you helped start, and writing a contemplative article about how interesting it is that there's a fire.

What responsibility does the Paper of Record, which has been consistently holding up the opinions of people who think that trans people should just stop being trans, take for this? What responsibility do you as a contributor take?

How did the United States become a place where the people at the highest levels of government could promulgate a policy that trans people should just stop being trans if they want to be able to travel, and most of the people living in the country would shrug?

I know that a contributor doesn't have a lot more control over what ends up in the published piece than I do as a person being interviewed. But I really urge you to think about how we got here.

You can read the open letter signed by many of your colleagues in 2023 here, since which time the Times has continued to pour editorial resources into uncritically parroting the talking points of right wing think tanks whose explicit goal is the eradication of "transgenderism." nytletter.com
