So White House construction companies:

ACECO (demolition): Deleted LinkedIn and Instagram profiles, took down their website with contact information entirely

Clark Construction (construction): Limiting Insta comments and hiding or deleting critical ones.

Do these companies think we'll all forget?

The ICE raids are another example. So far, multiple prisoners have been killed in captivity and media is not allowed inside to report the true toll.

These are all behaviours of an administration following an ideology which desires a wider destruction of people it deems unworthy of life.

Pulling back on Snap that might starve 42 million people (the poorest people who are, according to the conservative/nazi ideology are another perceived cancer on society).

Undermining the national economy to create further poverty on purpose is also a tactic, one Trump began on day 1.

He bulldozed the White House during a government shutdown to build himself a ballroom, then sent a letter to the states saying that SNAP benefits for 42 million people may not go out in November to those who rely on it to eat.

So my mom's monthly premium goes up 52%.
Rent is going up 5.6%.
The gas company has filed for another increase of 18% (they already raised my montly bill over 125% in the past few years).
Food and gas and internet have all gone up.
My wages havenet gone up that much. "Budgeting" doesn't fix this.

These costs are sucking chest wounds to the average American, and will be impossible to weather. This, alongside the AI bubble, the housing market bubble, the loss of jobs, encroaching inflation, and every other batshit thing Trump does, will lend itself to a cataclysmic cascading failure.

This is an isochronic passage chart for travelers created by Francis Galton. The Princeton library catalog has this description "Landmasses and oceans colored according to travel time (in days) to those points from London, ca. 1881. Includes explanation of colors, showing days journey indicated by each color. Includes note: "showing the shortest number of days journey from London by the quickest through routes and using such further conveyances as are available without unreasonable cost. Publishers de-prioritizing children's books is just crappy, but it's also shortsighted financially:

1. Kidlit is recession-proof! Parents will always need to buy books for kids.

2. If you're not fostering the next generation of readers, then you won't have a consumer base 10-20 years from now.
