A memo isn't a law. All the Republicans in Congress who have completely and totally abdicated their responsibility to represent their constituents, democracy, and the Constitution is something the founding fathers certainly never anticipated. And I'm sure they will just go along with this as well.

He's an independent. And thanks for pointing him out though. I think he's a good guy. His term isn't up until 2031. He's 81 years old now, won reelection last year. I didn't vote for him because I don't live in Maine, but if I did I wouldn't have. We need young leaders and there's plenty of them.

were (and had never been streetlights), no signs of warning prior to getting to that point and the cement circle had no yellow caution paint around it. I drive a small two-seater car that's very low and the cement circle was probably no more than 3 to 4 in high. I simply didn't see it. Luckily

drove down it again. It was still a two-lane. To my surprise they had installed a rotary with a low-level cement paved circle in the middle which I promptly drove right over. Lucky for me there was no one trying to go around it as I was going over it! There

Since the GOP forced a shutdown on September 30, federal workers have either been off the job or working without pay.

On October 10, they missed their first paycheck.

I had to call Social Security for the first time earlier this week. The lady I spoke with was helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. She unfortunately was unable to help me because of the shutdown and regretted that which gave me the opportunity to tell her how thankful that I was for her even being

Somebody ask him why he hasn't hung the plaque ordered by Congress to be hung honoring law enforcement who defended the Capitol 1/6. It was supposed to be hung by March of 2023. Or ask him why the orange menace in the Oval Office pardoned all the insurrectionists.
