Even if you don't get a burger, Culvers food isn't food so much as an experience. 💙
"The raid on La Catedral Arena struck nerves in Canyon County, which has the most Hispanic residents in Idaho and where Trump got 72% of the vote last year."

I didn't know the Zip-Tying Citizen Children Party would actually zip-tie my children! 🤦🏻‍♀️
FBI raid at Idaho horse track shows how immigration is a top focus across law enforcement
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The first sign something was amiss was the thwack of helicopter rotors overhead, followed by screams. Within moments, Anabel Romero was on the ground with her hands restrained b…

And I realized the "protecting myself from governmental interference" ship sailed about the time I signed up to work the census. 🤦🏼‍♀️
Alt National Parks was talking about the government using face-recognition software and people in the comments were talking about covering their faces.

And then someone pointed out that there's already software out there that sees through face coverings.
Hockey teams may win and lose, but Tim's is a delicious constant. 💙
An American doesn't have a true affinity for Canada unless they would drive past a Dunkin to get to a Tim's. 😆
People who aren't on SNAP criticize people who are, but if your state's program is willing to pay for the discounted, after-holiday candy, everyone should feel guilt-free in buying it. 😆
I use to think Heidi Klum was cool, but her ranking dropped to "Rethuglican Dumbass" after learning that Rotten Melon's uber-bitch of a mother attended Heidi's Halloween party last night. 🙄

I know atheists who act more Christian than people who call themselves Christian, but cut SNAP funding.

I'm so disappointed in THIS America right now.
"Life is short, spend it with people who make you happy."

Quote on the profile of a bitch who defends criticizing what SNAP clients have in their carts, because, "We have a right to know where our money is going!"

Then file a FOIA request with the state, Karen! 🙄
Anyone who trots out "communist" at the mention of a Canadian team winning the WORLD Series is both a Chump lover and in need of serious help. 🤦🏼‍♀️
Running a 170 year old university is more important than acquiescing to your Keffiyah Hipster complaints. 🙄

(KHipsters are probably rabid antisemites, too.)
The kids who are whining to the Michigan State University about DEI stuff being reduced or removed don't seem to care that the school will lose essential federal funds if they don't kowtow to President Marmalade.

That may be by agreement—US is 50, too.
I'm too young for a pneumonia shot (since I apparently grew out of my asthma) and RSV isn't permitted 'til 75, so my dad will qualify in January.
'member how I said I'd pay for my covid shot if the state didn't step in? (Which the governor did, 'cause she's AWESOME!)

If they hadn't, it would've cost me $194.02.

(CC @raincitycor.bsky.social, as promised. That's $272.16 CAD, btw.)

A federal judge in Rhode Island just had to step in and stop Trump’s government from cutting off food aid to millions of Americans literally issuing an emergency order to keep people fed.

But here’s the catch: no one knows how — or when — this ruling will actually be enforced.
WLNS was reporting at noon that the House already shot it down.

Somebody's wires got crossed!
Huge thanks to @misendems.bsky.social for taking action to protect the millions of Michigan families who rely on food assistance. Leadership is about stepping up when people need it most, and that’s exactly what they’re doing. www.detroitnews.com/story/news/p...

Michigan’s GOP reps are proudly marching behind Trump’s Little Johnson — and the punchline is brutal: it’s their own voters who’ll be left hungry and without healthcare from the fallout.
