Yes, well, I worked part-time as a florist on and off for decades, and Christmas in July is a real marketing effort... there are no other decor-worthy holidays after Canada Day/the fourth of July until Halloween.

Also block them manually and don't just rely on blocklists because Bluesky recently deleted a bunch of people's moderation lists without warning and I totally expect them to do it again with blocklists against these accounts

Interestingly, I can't find the new US government accounts with search unless I use the exact handle. This makes blocking difficult. Hard to not see that as a strategicly helpful bug, if not actually intentional.

This was two hours ago and I am in pain but seem ok. If I got a concussion it was a minor one. My neck and my elbow are less happy than my head but if I were to go to the ER I would be a very low priority and I could be there all night.

I will rest up and monitor and see my GP and/or physio Monday.

I was looking forward to a better weekend than the week that I've had. Unfortunately, this hammock swung out from behind me and I fell and hit my head and elbow against the wall (one of those hidden disabilities, constant vestibular disequilibrium, certainly didn't help). So, new challenges. Grrrrr.

Yes, not happy with leadership here at all. Banning Link was arguably racist and what I saw of the circumstances around it were cringeworthy if one is being generous. I caught wind of but didn't see other egregious happenings. If this place is going to truly thrive, someone else needs to lead it.
