I still love the degree to which Baldur's Gate 3 feels like I get to play the character I design and have that matter. To the point that if my first two characters met, I'm certain they would fight.

I love that she had big sleeves that long, since I'm always admiring the buff arms she shows off in all of the costumes I picture her in.

May I ask about the original thought process for adding her to the story when you do?

The slow burn of assembling the party has been fascinatingly different from what I'm used to.

I love seeing the process for how you reached this design.

This version feels extremely right for the character and the comic. So I'm impressed it was only around a week before she appeared that it got finalized!

Day 76 of posting art ‘til my hand is healed. Haru’s final design. It didn’t actually get finalized until like a week before she showed up in the comic, lol. But I’m happy with how her character has changed and obviously love her new design, too!

My stomach dropped just reading that.

Close recent experience was massive sections of an unknown number of my files disappearing. Fortunately, I was able to restore to previous versions, but it was disturbing.

Everyone being Level 8 in an edition of D&D helps me estimate their ability levels for those silly "who would win" speculations.

Cat N. Kinnery would be similar to a 5th Ed Level 14 Rogue in Book 1, though some of her abilities complicate that.

Melody would be ~Level 5, but need a homebrew class.

What do your MC and villain think of each other?

When they finally meet her, both Cat and Melody find The Big Bad fascinating. She also excites Cat, and Melody feels sad for her.

She has great respect for both Cat and Melody, and makes sure not to underestimate either.

The villain of Queen of Thorns is the Human society that wants to destroy the Exile Forest. Canin and everyone who lives there doesn't like that one bit.
