But also making a 3D anime style with nice shaders/emissives is not a budget problem, indie 3D animators can make them in their bedrooms. That much is not a big AAA shitzillion dollar thing to do.

It's cause the 3D games are just kinda poorly put together with the kinda mistakes students/first time indies make. Like quality of assets mismatching so some stuff's way higher Res than others that look compressed for handheld. Lol
