For day 12 of #spacetober_challenge prompt eclipse: #mathematician & #astronomer Nicole-Reine Lepaute (1723-1788) and her calculated path of the solar eclipse of 1764. 🧪🐡👩🏼‍🔬🧮🔭 #histsci She also worked with Alexis Clairaut & Jérôme Lalande to precisely calculate the date of return of Halley’s Comet, 🧵

My linocut print of mathematician & astronomer Nicole-Reine Lepaute (1723-1788) in a vertical gradient (bottom to top) of bright pink to lavender on white paper. Nothing could possibly go wrong with this. Creating a lifelike digital avatar on a third party platform will definitely not open teaching staff up to career destroying issues in the event of that platform being hacked.

I divide most schools I visit into a cup of tea or a no cup of tea school, depending on how they treat visitors. Today's school was not only a cup of tea school, it was a pre-CPD pizza school. So take a bow Pakeman Primary, you were great. Thank you.
