It should not be understated how much clever shit like this actually annihilates morale at places like ICE/CBP.

Getting made fun of like this on national television while people laugh at you is.. well, you may call it victory wine, but it ain't.

Well here’s a fact this old bitty who is four months from turning fifty did NOT need to hear today:

Do you know how old the actor Wilford Brimley was when he starred in that 1985 movie Cocoon about OLD people getting infused with de-aging alien magic in that pool?

He. Was. Fifty.

Editors and reporters say they’ll continue to cover the US military thoroughly, with or without press credentials. Some well-known members of the Pentagon press corps have used the credentialing controversy to encourage tipsters to get in touch with them.

Reps for CNN, Reuters, The AP, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic and NPR all say that journalists from their newsrooms are not signing the new paperwork about Pentagon access. Newsmax says it doesn't intend to sign, either — a potentially significant sign of MAGA dissension.

Remember we're already in a world of Kavanaugh stops based solely on ethnicity. If you are from a targeted group, this can happen to you no matter what your citizenship status is. What if you forget your wallet at home? You could end up in detention for days or worse.

Here's a free book with plenty of examples, and an explanation of the theory behind it. Srdja Popovic was instrumental in Otpor!, the Serbian revolutionary group, and has since formed CANVAS, a group that trains revolutionaries all around the world.

He pressured BN a ton in a way that others probably could not.

This is exactly how I see it. He operates in a way that allows for him “negotiate with” these actors. But the end result is freedom for many and -at least a temporary- peace.

"The people in Gaza, including me, lost everything."

As Israel and Hamas exchange captives amid a U.S.-backed ceasefire, writer Ahmed Abu Artema slams Western double standards that privilege Israeli lives over those of Palestinians.

I’m confused. Because he acknowledged that Trump brokered a deal to end the war?

I feel like I’m seeing very little in my feed about the joyous hostage & prisoner releases and the re-entry of aid to gaza. Is it cognitive dissonance because Trump did it? It’s uncomfortable to say he helped make this happen while militarizing US cities & infringing on free speech rights at home
