Because Ciri was trained as a witcher as a child and I think it's a good thing she's getting to star in her own game. Ciri is a swordswoman in the books as well and doesn't kill people with magic but things like ice skates (it really happened). The mutagens are also things that can be compensated 4.

I don't think I'd ever write a licensed fiction because the lack of control would drive me mad. Gotrek and Felix/Drizzt Do'Urden were both stories that the authors wanted to bring to a conclusion. Instead, they were told that they had to continue them or other writers would. #fantasy #writing

I found out that one of my books came was on a best seller list but got beaten out by another author by two or three copies. The author was Poppy Z. Brite. I'm like, "as a Nineties Goth, I am okay with this." #Goth #writing #darkfantasy #urbanfantasy #horror #horrorwriting #horrorwritingcommunity

Trump is attempting to start a war with Venezuela as part of a Wag the Dog strategy. He tried the same thing with Iran and the Iranians didn't take the bait. I'd argue he's trying to do the same in Portland.

The usual suspects are complaining about #Ciri being the protagonist of the #Witcher 4. The funny thing is not even their complaints being stupid (and they are) but it's Ciri. She's already the co-protagonist in the books. It's like complaining about a Leia-led Star Wars game (and they would).
