I live in CT and teach near Sandy Hook. Several colleagues had children who attended that school when they were young. What he put those families, children, teachers through- disgraceful is not nearly a strong enough word.

Don't forget the hazard pay we didn't get for working during Covid. Or the horrific lockdown drills we do throughout the year. I knew I wouldn't make a lot of money as a teacher, but I didn't know I had to put my health or life at risk just to teach books.
