I'm immune suppressed, and so I don't go to many large gatherings/protests due to my health status. I was fully masked the entire time, but I saw very very few others with them on. I did have a hope that more people would have been conscious of others but alas. 😕😓

If you were at the No Kings events, please wear a mask for the next few days.

Covid is not over.

You can infect others before you feel symptomatic.

People are losing their healthcare. They’re losing their food assistance. They’re losing housing.

We need to protect each other.
Back in 2013-2017 when I was living in PGH, friends & I did too. He was at a lot of protests/rallies, and I got to speak with him some and thought he was super rad. A lot of stuff stayed quiet or talked about as if he "got better"; folks who tried to warn about him got shouted down for far too long

No Kings in Indianapolis today. Photo taken from parking garage roof across from the Indiana Statehouse.
My grandma lived in Angola and so I spent a lot of time there growing up, and it makes me so proud to see this ✊🏻
Proud of you for recognizing that things were very wrong and that something had to change for you both - that is a really hard thing to do when you've been so immersed in that type of culture!
I'm so proud of our turnout here! I can't wait to see the estimated final count
I was out with my 81 year old (chosen family) grandma! She was an *absolute* trooper who's been out fighting since the 60's. 💜

Don't engage. Just block. They want to push their rage bait on here. Don't give them the satisfaction.

I swear to god y'all just block the white house, HHS, DHS, department of war, department of state, department of the interior, department of transportation, etc on bluesky. Remember the early internet - don't feed the trolls and they'll probably get bored.

Hegseth: "We unleash overwhelming and punishing violence on the enemy. We also don't fight with stupid rules of engagement. We untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies of our country. No more politically correct and overbearing rules of engagement."
It's wild just trying to like, balance and live a little personal life while being terrified all the time about being trans, autistic, schizo, disabled... (and for everyone else too).

But fuck them. The fascists want to see us be bowed, be in hiding, and not show ourselves, and just fuck them.

Only an administration intent on committing war crimes in the present and future would stoop to calling Wounded Knee a "battle" rather than what it truly was: a massacre of over 250 Lakotas, mainly women, children, and the elderly. 1/
RFK to UN: We cannot accept language that pushes destructive gender ideology. Neither can we accept claims of a constitutional or international right to abortion."

There is no mention of reproductive rights or gender in the declaration except in reference to specific challenges facing women.
Really, really enjoyed this article from my state's independent news. Compassionate, expansive on the complexity and diversity of autism in terms of potential causes and our behaviors, they spoke with *actual* experts, and combatted misinformation and outright lies. Thank you, Capital Chronicle! 💜
You spoke with *actual* experts, elucidated the diversity and complexity of the spectrum in both potential causes and behaviors, and even highlighted that many of us feel that our communication is different, but not "worse" than how NT people typically communicate. I really appreciate this!
Thank you for writing such a compassionate and expansive article on this. I'm autistic, and I always get a pang of anxiety when I read a news article about us and the entire neurodivergent community. Even if it starts out in a good way, I wait for the other shoe to drop.
