Totally true, and it's just another failing of capitalism.

Americans eat about 30 of 20,000-30,000 total edible plant types, leaving huge gaps in our nutrition.

In other nations, people eat 140-200 plant types.

Capitalists: It's just too expensive to control your food supply and offer variety.

Farmers grow what they grow because of farm policy.

We don’t need all the soy and corn that we grow, but those are the commodities that receive subsidies and markets.

If we want something better, if we want to heal the Earth and grow food, now is the time to do it.

I'm lost. Why would Democrats do that? If they actually had a REAL issue with what Trump was doing, they would be doing more than writing strongly-worded social media posts.

Democrats could pose significantly more resistance to Trump's admin. They won't because their donors give the orders.

ICE targeted an apartment building near my home. Masked agents in unmarked cars. I've said this before. Democratic Governors & Mayors need to order their local police depts to arrest any & all unidentified & masked alleged ICE agents.

- Obama: 5 years
- Trump: 5 years
- Biden: 4 years

Democrats got 9 years; Republicans 5.

Yet inequality didn't change for the better. It only got worse. Both parties work *ONLY* for the oligarchs, not you.

But she is an establishment tool. Nobody in either duopoly party is allowed to have a mind or agenda of their own. We've seen them go on with good intentions (maybe) and early on you see the switch, just like with every member of the squad.

The point being that people are beat to shit and believe crumbs are progress. So they'll have progress forever with just crumbs.

I pointed out that if you ask the average grind-laborer how they would improve quality of life at their work. They will respond with something like, "put better vending machines in the break room." But that's ultimately self-defeating and doesn't remotely move the needle.

The entire capitalist economy balances on the emotions of the ultra rich and powerful.

If they even remotely feel anxious about the market, they can move mountains of value almost instantly causing fast sell-offs... But if they're feeling "good" about the economy, they can scoop up your losses.
