Tell your friends you love them.

Make it weird if you have to

Does that make this the Heisenberg cut? (-:
A cat's paw, claw extended murderously, reaching through a cutout hole in diffusion fabric to take a swipe at a human's finger

I think she's needed a chance to relax at home with both her humans in the same room...

Flowering weed today: another species of Symphyotrichum (new world aster)... idk which, the robot suggested a couple but the flower heads they describe are too large, these were the size of a pinky fingernail

A bunch of uniformly tiny ones opened in the park, though, I didn't just find one tiny one
Two tiny aster flowers in the grass. The closer one has purple (well, puce) disk florets which are open. The one in back, a bit out of focus, has pale yellow disk florets which are opening as well

She's so very pleased to have gotten that squeaker out of the squirrel toy.

Usually she kills that pretty quickly too, but she's been keeping this one like a prize for days...
Doggo holding the little plastic squeaker from a toy she killed last week sometime

Best sandwich in the universe is a muffuletta. It's hard to find a real one outside of Louisiana though... I've seen people offer something by that name on a sub roll but that ain't it.

I'll recommend it to anybody who can find one.

You can even get Central Grocery to ship you one, but $$$$!

Ok switching up the vibes. Everyone recommend a book you like. Or a sandwich or something

A big part of the problem is we have a culture of rewarding trust and business to specific people and organizations that are untrustworthy and asking them to be stewards of our information universe solely on the merit that they are rich & powerful, which is the dumbest proxy for trust imaginable

It's a thing. I don't like avocados enough to have ordered it though.

I also haven't seen it in a while... idk if it's a dying trend or if I'm just more likely to buy a lot of tacos than something requiring table side prep

... there's a word for getting the billionaires to pay for the army without making it beholden to them.

It's a common word. Starts with a T, ends with an S, and has an X in the middle of it. And it's not quite the name of a US state.

Somebody posted a "sexy dynamite" costume.

It had a sparkly fuse in the little hat, and big letters TNT over most of the rest of what was covered of her body.

But TNT is not dynamite, and furthermore, trinitrotoluene cannot be ignited by a burning fuse, requiring a shockwave.

In this essay I will

Ooh yeah, that's gonna be tricky.

It'll be worse as time goes on though. I mean, don't go yank it out from the roots right now, but I wouldn't wait on it too long

... really it's hard to kill a Spathiphyllum... water it in when you repot and it'll be fine.

Better than it was, even. They really like water, but when they're rootbound not much water stays in the soil for them

Love those!

Sometimes I end up having to cut the spadix out though, Spathiphyllum pollen is strong...
