It's sadly how it goes with reboots, you wind up dividing the audience between the core fanbase that might have grown up with it and then the folks who like the reboot.

It becomes impossible to satiate both- unless you wind up DOING both.

Metroid is KIND of doing that.

I heard the beta tracks that are on the end of the first vid you sent, was fun hearing the differences!

Either performance or space is my guess. Some games did use mono like FZero on N64. Anything to squeeze everything out of the hardware or storage.

The PS2 Ratchet and Clank games have such great music it's crazy. Shame the 1st game's OST is stuck in mono.

It took 8 hours to get this all done.
All of their tests and such were done in the hallway. They went into a room for a catscan and then were brought back out to the bed in the hall.

Loved this game. It was mindblowing with all the twists & where the game had you go. I only played Shining Force 2 before this & saw my cousin play FF6.

Wait what? You not only know about this game but have played it?
It's one of my favorites & convinced maybe 1 of my friends ever to play it. Most of my friends love RPGs - but only if they're on Nintendo's stuff.
