Clarifying question: Does needlessly keeping food from working families make us great? Or is it keeping it from seniors on fixed incomes?

The President is openly defying a court order just to rip food away from starving families. So much for the rule of law. So much for basic humanity. This cruel, lawless man is hell-bent on inflicting pain on the American people—because that’s all he knows how to do.

I’m just going to say it…

It’s pretty damn validating to hear Barack Obama say the same things we’ve been shouting for months, and longer.

The President’s priorities are gilded ballrooms and marble bathrooms, while the American people are trying to figure out how to afford health care and put food on the table.

Shouldn’t take a court order to tell you to feed the hungry.

This is an actual headline in the New York Times. Meanwhile he’s cutting food for hungry kids and letting health premiums skyrocket at home. But oh the crown 👑 !

Republicans in Congress are taking an indefinite vacation & relinquishing their power to a wannabe king.

Without a Congress, we’re living in a dictatorship—not a democracy.
Trump: "I said, 'put it all into one bill and if we get it done, we're done for four years.' We don't need anything more from Congress."

Tim Walz: "People are gonna be lined up out here to get food, and we're talking about a damn ballroom. Don't lose the plot."
Congrats to the Wolves for pulling out the win on the season home opener despite Ant leaving the game 3 mins in. Even bigger kudos to the team for bringing back the KG era black uniforms with the trees tonight.

Today, the White House Press Secretary told the country that this ridiculous damn ballroom is “the president’s main priority”…not reopening the government, not lowering the cost of groceries, not lowering the cost of housing, not lowering the cost of healthcare….building a ballroom

Two private jets for Kristi Noem. Endless funding for ICE’s reign of terror. And now, a glorious new ballroom. But nothing for Americans on the brink of hunger.
Families are already hanging by a thread, but the sad truth is it’s about to get a lot worse when SNAP benefits don’t go out in November.

It’s time to find our local food banks and help out with donations and volunteer hours if you are able.

Trump’s priorities:

Bulldozing the White House ✅
Reopening the government ❌
Demolition crews have begun tearing down part of the White House to build President Trump’s long-desired ballroom — despite his pledge that construction of the $250 million addition wouldn’t “interfere” with the existing building. https://wapo.st/4hl7jyF

But when we ask to help our own citizens pay for health insurance they shut down the whole government
The Trump administration just ordered two Gulfstream luxury private jets for Kristi Noem at a cost of over $172 million.

This comes as Americans can barely afford groceries.

Glad to know our taxpayer dollars are funding Kristi Noem’s private jet habit while Americans still can’t afford groceries.
New reporting reveals the Coast Guard plans to spend $200 million on 2 private jets to be used by Kristi Noem and other top DHS officials.

President Trump is meeting with the President of Argentina instead of meeting with Congressional leaders to end the shutdown and prevent health care premiums from skyrocketing.

$20 billion for Argentina, but no $ for Americans' health care?

You’ll never be able to convince me ripping an American citizen out of their Chicago apartment in the dead of night, zip tying their hands and refusing to let them call their lawyer is ‘America First’
Right there with you, my friend.
Agreed. Awesome show from top to bottom!
Thanks for the kind words. Have a blast at the show!
Had such a blast at the album release show at First Ave for @durrymusic.bsky.social, one of our family's top favorites, that I had to cook up a little fan art. Inspired by their love for pizza, possums & video games, I channeled everyone's favorite arcade pizza parlor rat. Go check 'em out on tour!

All because we wanted to help Americans pay their health care costs in a broken system that is about to get even more expensive.

Can think of a lot of hospitals, schools and food pantries that could use twenty billion dollars to actually help our own citizens…
Donald Trump wants to lend $20 billion of our money to bail out a political ally and his global investors before an election.

Oh, and Argentina just struck a major deal with China that crushes American soybean farmers already suffering from Trump's tariffs.

“America First.”

We served over 151 million (!) free meals to students last year, saving families an average of $1,000 per student.

Students should be able to focus on the classroom, not on where their next meal will come from. We’ve made that a reality in Minnesota.
