For the last 5 years people have been sharing coastal landscape images with the Global Shorelines project. I mount exhibitions in aid of marine conservation charities.
Maybe send me an image of a coast you love with a sentence of commentary.
Reposts and follows appreciated. I am new here.

Saw Justin sing this with Jeff Wayne, War of the Worlds live, in 2022. Great show.
Bought the album way back, on its release.

Seemed like it was just a matter of time before one of the class of 92 broke the oldest ranking winner record. Mark Williams always comes across as a very down to earth, nice bloke.
Nice that it was a Welsh man who took Ray Reardon’s record.

It’s worth another look at Richard Dreyfus building Devils Tower out of mashed potatoes. 👍🏻😁

Bought that on release. Not the best, but still some good material. None of the tracks were in the 2024 Midge gig I saw.

Presumably playing Devil Gate Drive if it’s 1973.

Got this on DVD. 'Kashmir' with Moroccan strings and an Egyptian orchestra backing is epic.
RIP drummer Michael Lee. Tragically gone at only 39.

Made it over to Saint John, PEI and Cape Jourimain in 2023, on the way to Quebec. Spectacular coasts. The high tidal flow was very evident at reversing rapids.

Brilliant documentary photographer.
Her image of a relocation centre from WWII seems quite pertinent still.

Saw one of your UK shows on your epic Late Bloomer tour schedule. Brilliant.
Do you even get nervous anymore, after so many shows?

Annie's song was pretty much the only song I could play a decent version of on the penny whistle, when I tried to teach myself.
The Irish flautist James Galway recorded a version in 1978.

My first professional acting job was in an off-Broadway play with Diane Keaton in 1976. I worked with her again when she directed an episode of China Beach. She was smart, kind, funny and very, very talented. What a loss.

Binge watched the whole of Midsummer Murders again fairly recently.

An absolute classic.
Apparently, it flopped on release. Mostly because people expected heroic or matinee idol roles from Lancaster and Curtis. They are much darker here. One of Cutis' best IMHO.

Oh yes, I had that back then. Early Roxy with Eno were quite something. Started to lose a bit of 'edge' after their 3rd album 'Stranded', which includes the fantastic 'Street Life' IMHO.

Really enjoyed your Golden Years choices and chat with Ken on @greatesthitsuk.bsky.social
Good luck with the album and tour.

Ceramics, as a medium, is a fantastic window through history.

On of three great East Coast American female photographers from that period.
The other two were Lee Miller and Dorothea Lange. IMHO

I studied art at Brighton Grand Parade SOA back in the 70's and based some work on the juxtaposition of postmodern architecture, against Regency and Victorian buildings. Strange to have Amex House on one side and Brighton Pavilion on the other.

Here's the sad story of the once great Southend Kursaal (cure hall). Southend was our nearest 'seaside' growing up in Essex. My parents took us to the fun fair & I remember the smell of the 'Wall of Death'.
Later on, I saw Manfred Mann & Thin Lizzy in the concert hall.

Southend's Kursaal added to 'endangered' building list
The Victorian Society wants the building to return to the council for it to be restored.

I first visited Paris with some friends in the 70's. We found a little bar in Montmartre one night and the barman came out and started playing Piaf songs on the piano. Then his mum came out and sang Edith Piaf songs (just like her) all evening. It was magical.

FACT OF THE DAY. 10 October 1963. Édith Piaf died (aged 47). She became France’s national chanteuse and one of the country’s most widely known international singing stars. Her most well known song was No Regrets (Non, je ne regrette rien).

Sad to hear John Lodge has passed. My favourite Moody Blues album was Seventh Sojourn 1972, which included Isn't Life Strange (written with Hayward) and his song I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band).
