🗓️ The Everyday Poem

[The plan is to keep building this poem endlessly (hopefully) by posting short stanzas now and then that builds on the previous.]
Hey! So it is called a thermal printer, used for label printing generally. I don't know how it works but it doesn't use ink and sort of uses heat to print on a special kind of paper for thermal printing. 😁
Trying everything I can to get back to writing poetry. Using a portable inkless printer seems to be doing the trick.

gesturing with a bread stick
the retired baker
And enough grief to fill the halls of a million gods with fervent prayers.
anguishing over coming up with fresh material
in a world that offers as inspiration
the same violence
every day, every night
Turned it into a visual poem. And an accompanying rant.

restless night
kicked out of bed
by a dream
to conceive of such a thing as providence...
digging two-feet-long graves

in detached coldness

to a jarring end
come many warm desires
