Every paladin player just wants to have their own rules overlay so they can attribute their decisions to their oath. Sorry, can't help you kill this dragon, my vow roll came up "merciful" and I'll take 3d4 damage to my oath if I take out my sword here.
Everyone has heaped praise on Dead End and Keep Them Alive (rightly so!) but I will go to bat for Children of the Carnival for capturing the horror movie vibes of Duskmourn so perfectly. I'd read the full novel, even as someone who doesn't like horror.
Lots of people I love and care about have big skull and crossbones tattoos! Not, like, famously nazi styles, but the kind you'd get from a biker's flash designs. With like pirate hats or flames or whatever. They're cool tattoos. But also I'm not going to vote for them for senate.
I have a lot of tattoos that I got because they just look cool but they're stuff like hands with hearts and birds and flowers and junk. Not big skull and crossbones designs, though. Kinda takes a certain kind of person to get that sort of tattoo, even if they don't know the history.
It's very possible to get a tattoo you think looks cool without knowing anything about the history of the image, but I think it's probably worth asking what it means for someone to think it looks cool enough to get it tattooed prominently like that.

I have also long dreamed of demolishing the white house
That's approximately 1000 more words than I've written in the past two days.

Say what you will but I think it's actually Good™️ that run of the mill liberals are protesting fascism and actually using the word. Do they know the ins and outs of fascism or anti-fascist resistance? Probably not. But it's way easier to start a conversation when you have an agreed-upon baseline.
This is the number one album I associate with you because I can still remember when you recommended it to me (I was living in my dorm room like sophomore year of college and I was getting in the shower when you sent the message).
Genuinely I think this is an example of what makes this new battle system so good. My Gyrados kept missing his Waterfall because the Alpha Pokemon kept chasing me. My Pokemon literally stood between me and a rogue Mega Beedrill's Pin Missile attack and saved my life. This game is great.
HE IS SO BIG EVERYTHING MISSES
I can’t believe you’d make the next episode of the podcast out of date the night before its public release.
I’ve seen gay guys let people with his body type get away with being Republican staffers and cops, I don’t think having one eye makes him a hear me out.

“You can win elections by tacking to the middle; lots of people have. But you can also win elections by staking a moral position and convincing people to agree with you. You can earn support by demonstrating what is important to you instead of just being determined to nod along with what you hear.”

For Tolkien fans, a timely passage for No Kings Eve, from WH Auden’s review of Lord of the Rings.
Cook at my favorite diner recognized my Rhystic Studies shirt today so I know I've picked the right place to be a regular.
For when you need someone to know that you’re not normal freaky, you’re freaky freaky. Getting real specific with the kink.

Next year, high school grads will have gone through their entire high school career WITHOUT HAVING READ A SINGLE FULL LENGTH BOOK. We talk about a crisis of literacy in this country. We are not prepared for what is going to be facing us now.
Teammate beat a Splinter Twin player in Modern with this one time and I’ve been chasing that high ever since. Nothing feels better than asking “How many copies do you make, exactly?”
My nana, certainly the most influential person in my early life outside of immediate family, was a devout Catholic who cared deeply for other people and loved everyone. It’s just really nice to see that the church might finally be catching up to her example. It almost makes me want to attend mass.
heartbroken to learn the pope sympathizes with the poor. how can i continue to believe in god
If you’re going to one of these rallies and you think “I need to know how to respond to aggression from cops and be prepared to coordinate with people to avoid kettling” then you don’t need advice. You know what you’re doing. You’ve been to these protests before. Don’t listen to randos online.
Most people going to these rallies are going to be middle-aged moms and the Cool Dads. They should wear comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothes, a hat and sunscreen, and bring their own signs. And they should be ready to leave if they feel unsafe. That’s the advice they need.
plz don’t take advice about US protests from someone who spells it “utilise”
I haven't been much of a theatre folk for about 10 years now, but I have been captioning a lot of theatre undergrad courses in the last year or two and it's amazing seeing students encounter plays like Rabbit Hole and Topdog/Underdog for the first time again. I really hope they get to do Mr. Burns.
I sometimes forget that Mr. Burns: a Post-Electric Play isn't very well known outside of specific circles.
