FYI :“Destruction of federal property is a federal crime. 18 U.S. Code § 1361 defines the crime as willfully injuring or committing any depredation against U.S. government property. If the damage exceeds $1k it is a felony with a fine, up to ten years in prison or both.”

Actually the famous Willard Hotel is right next to the White House, walking distance, and it has a luxury ballroom. He just wants his own place so he can do like in Mar a Lago where each evening they play Hail to the Chief and he walks in to big applause so he gets his narcissistic thrills!
