Hang on - have I missed something here ? £300 deduction from what? From the basic State Pension? God help those who only have the basic pension to live on. vaguely recall hearing the Chancellor making threats about deductions of some sort but definitely from what and starting already.

Isn't there also an issue with WM having sold off/leased/whatever land in Scotland which wasn't within its right to do? Can't remember the detail but it came to light around the time the Freeports in Scotland were being set up. If no-one else, @europeanpowell.bsky.social might recall this?

The bombing and laying waste of Gaza may have stopped at last but where on earth are the poor Palestinians going to live in the short term and then permanently - and indeed will they live when the whole of their homeland is now just s pule of rubble (until the Costa del Gaza is built).

Sunak saddled us with 25 year contracts with Freeports that's why Labour says we can't join the single market. And my local MP confirmed it. We have been really stitched up. UK Freeports are incompatible with EU ones because companies pay no tax on customs and excise.

I'm not a Member of SNP.

However, they are the ONLY vehicle to Scottish Independence.

Hop on board.

Any other party just doesn't make sense, for Scotland.

Independent Scotland will be one of the Richest Countries in Europe.

The SNP is focused on achieving an improbable majority vote despite a 60% drop in membership.

They will have to heavily depend on non-member indy supporters and a possible coalition with Scottish Greens just to maintain a minority government.

All on the hope Westminster will grant a referendum.
