everything I was being raised to believe and strive for is essentially backwards these days. I recognize polar opposites of me think the same and this is all part of the wackadoo world. On the same hand, how the fk did empathy become something debatable. Breeds from facts not feelings bs.

#lughnasadh2025 literally small potatoes! My first #potatoharvest ever!

a rectangle mirror, dinner plate size, with various witchey items sits on a blue sky summer day (august first 2025). the mirror sits on a round glass table, and next to the mirror there are 5 potatoes visible, two big ones and 3 small ones, the small ones attached to a pulled potato plant with visible roots.

4 brioche donuts from a place called Mello! these are fluffy, custard filled donuts with sprinkles of sugar all over. On the bottom right is a new mango custard donut, and facing the camera is a little wafer daisy (which was delicious.) The visible mango custard is a buttery yellow colour. Theres a strawberry creme custard donut with little strawberries visible on top. Theres a vanilla donut, and a tiramisu donut as well.

For the past 10yrs or so I've tried to explain to students how keyword searching trains us to see looking at the world as seeking a known target. By contrast, being in a library, archive, gallery asks us to make a network of connections, questions, possibilities. Which one makes thinking more free?

Seems to me an increasing amount of bad history is based on the idea that you can just keyword search terms (esp. 21st c. terms) to locate origins & relative usage. It's totally unimaginable to these keyword searchers why folks in the past would use diff terms or not mention common practice at all.

1) You aren't very smart

Cycleway 10 (C10) is one of my favorites in London, especially the section that passes through a Low Traffic Neighborhood (LTN). You can see children walking, skating, and cycling because it's safe.
