In the 1600's this now restaurant was the scene of a criminal case like no other in the US: the only trial where a man was convicted of murder via the testimony of a ghost.

Two round tables set up for dinner guests in a fancy colonial era restaurant. The walls are made of stone, the floors and ceiling dark wood, there's old cast iron pots and pans and a Franklin stove on the back wall. Everything is lit with soft candle-like lighting.

Ewe, that makes sense but I did not know that. It just got it's tentacles so far into the system. It's like AA and it's lack of state sponsored *science based* treatment. I feel like we're about to turn the corner into a new age. May we buck all three things and replace them with something better.

This is a long read but utterly fascinating. Basically, it states that autism is not diagnosed in much of the world because much of the world does not see it as a disorder but rather just a normal variation of human communication. Lots of other super interesting ideas.

My eighth grade English teacher told me I couldn't use slang... in a fictional dialogue between two teenagers... I should have written the next one in Shakespearean speech in the modern day. If only.

Very weird question for those with female reproductive bits. Are there smells you like most of the time that suddenly become totally revolting for the third week of your cycle? Also does anyone know why (outside of pregnancy which is not the cause here.)
