I see artists trade their patreon and ko-fi links all the time and it seems sometimes like it's only other artists and a handful of regular followers that pass those round.

It really does help. Previous clients saying on comm ads they had a good experience also helps a lot too.

Generally speaking, this post is more just a meme. (I noticed that good traditional artists sometimes post the stages of the drawing process.) That's usually how I draw. Then I scan and doing a little digital processing to get rid of scanner artifacts.
