If the world series ends up being Mariners vs. Dodgers I'm going to instantly become a Mariners fan

Typically weak points are glowing eyes or flashing buttcheeks or something but for me it's one particularly itchy spot in the middle of my back where if you get it just right I fold like a wet paper bag

I will say my most underrated game that everyone loves to hate but I had an absolute blast with it: Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Returns. Stupid as fuck story, but the combat and exploration were top notch. I actually loved the time limit mechanic, thought the dress system was a cool way to do jobs

The motion controls were a huge frustration and turn-off, especially since they weren't optional, but my main complaint is...it's just a remake of 64, basically. As someone craving more from the series, it just felt like I was playing the same game I'd played 50 times before

-ToZ: saccharine, forgettable cast, asinine plot, mediocre combat, boring dungeons. Glad Berseria and Arise redeemed it.

-XS2: whaaaat a mess. Weird shift in art style, tone, and extremely slow, frustrating combat. None of the first's charm.

-Q64: the only N64 JRPG. It is what it is.

-EM: fun concept, underwhelming gameplay, one too many frustrating jumping puzzles, gasping and wheezing in Mario's shadow

-TN: beautiful pixel art, hooked me in the first half, completely falls apart with its bizarre twist in the second

-SZ: IYKYK. Great music though, best in the series

I fall into the category of “doesn’t finish games they don’t enjoy,” but a few honorable mentions for games I’ve beaten and thought “that was underwhelming:

-Epic Mickey
-Tails Noir (formerly Backbone)
-Starfox Zero
-Tales of Zestiria
-Xenosaga Ep. 2
-Quest 64

What's the worst game you finished/rolled credits on?

(games media folks, it can't be something you were assigned to review; this has to be something you subjected yourself to of your own free will)

Disband ICE, prosecute the thugs, dismantle the DHS. None of this GOP Nazi shit is protecting us in any way. I hope some pols start running on that platform.
caymanwent.bsky.social
So we just have nazi brownshirt thugs kidnapping protestors and bringing them across state lines now? While the cops sent in to “protect” protestors just watch??

America is a Nazi state until someone starts doing something about this.

A musician, Oriana Korol, was peacefully playing clarinet with her protest band outside ICE facilities in Portland, OR.

When the band started playing “Ghostbusters,” ICE thugs suddenly poured outside, slammed her into the mud, arrested her and took her to a jail 9 miles away in Vancouver, WA.

‘Taking us citizens out of state to detain them without charge is a new action from the Feds and should be opposed,’ her band said

Let it be known that the Denver city council voted 12-0 to BLOCK funding for surveillance devices from this particular torment nexus. Mayor Johnston simply dropped the requisitioned amount from $500K to $499K, below the threshold for a vote, and pushed it through anyways

Ngl I really like this whole “FF characters in a modern day AU” concept, but it’s a shame that it’s a weird mobile gacha that SE will inevitably kill off in a year
