I just saw the video of him being hit. There was no conceivable risk to the the agents, who were on top of a building. A clear case of targeted violence against a peaceful activist.

This is Chicago Pastor David Black. Trump’s fascist thugs targeted and then shot him in the head with a pepper bullet because he was praying outside an ICE facility.

Resist this kind of government violence from becoming America’s new normal.

While leaders from Tuvalu are demanding that big international polluters enter legally binding obligations that could protect the tiny Pacific nation's future existence, this is the sort of crap that The Australian has chosen to platform.

This article is spectacular. From Spectator Aust.

Ian Plimer: 'Climate change politics is not about science, climate, environment, employment or cheap reliable energy. It is a step towards totalitarianism comprising a political scare campaign underpinned by demonstrably fake science & corruption'.

Just so we’re clear: Labor is choosing to work with the worst possible party on environmental issues, instead of the Greens and teals who actually want environmental regulation.
And Watt is already admitting it won’t have a climate trigger …
Watt nears deal with Coalition to finally overhaul environment laws

Apropos of nothing, Sec. Kristi Noem is currently praying over Burgerville with Portland ICE officials.
A screenshot of a video of Noem praying at a conference table with other people wearing suits. Fast food bags and water bottles sit on the table.

I've attended many motor vehicle accidents. Last NOV we got paged to a car which had hit a tree at high speed. Completely on fire, incl the battery pack & internal combustion engine.
There is a lot of anti renewables hype out there. Most of it is fear mongering crap. We know how to deal with this.
foe.org.au
People who oppose renewables love to talk up the perceived fire risks of wind turbines, batteries & electric/ hybrid vehicles.

The fact is that the risk of fire is actually very low & can be managed by responders.
camwalker.bsky.social
Isn't it sweet how The Australian is suddenly really worried about nature and biodiversity.

I'm sure the chance to kick renewables and The Greens has nothing to do with it.

“A common argument used by campaigners who oppose wind farms is the claim that renewables increase the risk of fire in regional communities. There is no data that we have seen that suggest that areas with wind farms have more frequent or intense fires.”

Sad nukes apologist Dan Tehan went to the USA to investigate nukes & is still pushing small modular reactors - 'they should be economically viable by 2035' (so what, we do nothing for 10 years?), 'nuclear is the safest technology on the planet'. He didn't bother to visit any renewables facilities.

The windfarm management tracks are a firefighters dream! Easy access over rough ground, excellent dead edges.

Aircraft wise, as the article states, no different to work around than the many other hazards in the wire environment.
