Thank you all for a fantastic #NoKings in Omaha! We heard a low-end estimate of 6k and a high of 8k for the turnout -- what we can say is that we had so many donations we were able to give two food banks as much as they could haul away, with a carload left over for a third organization!

There are definitely countries that revoke your citizenship when you become a US citizen (Germany, for example is one). The US can't force you to revoke a foreign citizenship. They don't have the jurisdiction. They could always just, not grant you US citizenship in the first place.

Confiscating and destroying or failing to return a foreign passport (which is also abuse of power, to be clear) doesn't revoke one's citizenship from their birth country. It can make things more difficult, no question, but you're still a citizen until your home country says otherwise.
