Hawks down 10 at the half.

Biggest swing was a 15-6 run Orlando run to begin Q2 against a no-chance ATL lineup.

Hawks 2-14 from 3. Magic 7-17 even with a missed heave at the halftime buzzer.

Mo Gueye was a bright spot for the Hawks in his first rotation action this season.

It's not going to make anyone feel better, but it's going to be tough to score on this Orlando defense when you shoot 1-12 from three.
Dyson Daniels has exactly 4 points and he's been awesome in this first half.
Onyeka Okongwu has only played 7 pretty ugly minutes tonight and the Hawks have used 3 different backup bigs.
i think you can play trae and kennard together, but you have to be intentional about who they play with
in my podcast notes, i can't quite explain how big and bold the font is that the magic went on a 15-6 run to begin Q2 against a lineup that made no sense
The Magic are 5-8 from three, and their only shooter (Bane) is 0-3.
not having either dyson or NAW on the court for 7 minutes and counting is pretty strange
the first two contested jumpers were an adventure, but was a really good stint overall
Hawks being in the game right now is mildly encouraging against this Orlando team on the road while shooting 1-9 from 3.
i'll try to only say it once after emphasizing it quite a bit on wednesday

i don't get the keaton minutes
full mo gueye experience in this first stint

immediate defensive impact

offensive roller coaster
At the first timeout of the game, the main difference on the scoreboard is that Orlando is 2-3 from three and Atlanta is 0-3.
Onyeka Okongwu picks up 2 fouls in the first 2 minutes.

Mo Gueye is getting the first backup center minutes.
Mo could play some at the 5. Not 100% sure he will, but he could.
For the sake of comparison, the Hawks are now bigger betting underdogs tonight than they were betting favorites on Wednesday.
I think he should play but not sure why he would start lol

(he's not)
Roster breakdown for the Hawks tonight in Orlando:

With Porzingis and Risacher unavailable tonight, the Hawks will need to cover considerable minutes with some combination of these players against Orlando:

Mo Gueye
N’Faly Dante
Vit Krejci
Keaton Wallace (played Wed.)
Jacob Toppin
Caleb Houston
Asa Newell
Zaccharie Risacher is OUT tonight for the Hawks with a right ankle sprain.

He suffered the injury in the opener on Wednesday and was previously listed as questionable.

Kristaps Porzingis was also ruled out earlier with flu-like symptoms.

Atlanta down 2 key pieces in Orlando.
I get why people are asking given that Porzingis didn't play a back-to-back all of last season, but the Hawks could simply list injury management if they were just choosing to rest him here.
Kristaps Porzingis (flu-like symptoms) is OUT tonight.
It helps that the Hawks have another starting-level center on the roster in Onyeka Okongwu.

Would also project Mo Gueye to join the rotation after he was a DNP-CD on Wednesday.

Could also see N'Faly Dante in backup center minutes.

(Note: Zaccharie Risacher remains questionable with the ankle)
Kristaps Porzingis (flu-like symptoms) is OUT tonight.

I’ll be in Indy for the Hawks game on Halloween and I look forward to Tony and I trying to figure out what’s happening in a sea of navy blue.
