There was also, from the trailer, nothing that really differentiated itself from your average blockbuster visually. Bringing it to the real world should have looked jarring but it didn’t.

Long time Tron fans seem happy just because there’s more Tron and it’s crazy that Disney thought that “third times the charm” lol but Tron: Legacy fans just felt left.

Look, neither is Garret Hedland right? Like when was the last time you saw him in a movie. But this felt like Ant-Man 3. You ignore the fans you’ve made in the hopes of bringing in more people but you didn’t get that so you ended up pleasing no one.

I don’t think he’s totally wrong. But I do think if they made it as a direct sequel to the last one, it would have done better.
Probably still not a success, but better.
Leto just isn’t a box office draw and you left the Tron 2 fans high and dry
